There are multiple ways to place a hold on an item in the Laurel Ridge collection:

  • By clicking on the campus location of the item in the library catalog, you will be taken to the Request Options for the item.

    Primo Item Location

In order to place a hold on the item, you will need to first log in with your MyLaurelRidge username and password. If you are not already logged in, click the "Sign in" link.

    Primo Sign In

Once you've logged in, you will then have an option to Request the item.

    Primo Request

From there, provide the campus location at which you'd like to pick up the item, and include any additional notes if needed. Then click Request.

  • You may also come into the library with your student ID or library card, call the library desk (Middletown, 540-868-7170 / Fauquier, 540-351-1596), or use the live chat feature on our website and have the library staff place the hold on the item for you.
